hpy540 is on a distinguished road
replacing a 4.4 N62TU with a 4.8

can a person just switch over the ecm and swap in a long block?
i know i a, going to get everyone telling me all kinds of reasons why it cannot be done. i want to know what it will take to do it. i have a 4.4 in a over maintained x5. with 189k on it that now has a bad block. it still runs.
