Changing out to clear taillights

This weekend I'll probably change out my amber tails for the clear ones I just picked up recently. Is it an easy DIY right?

I haven't looked at anything yet, but I assume I can just go thru the back area where the fuses/amps are to change the bulbs and tail light?

Should be an easy swap. What year is your X5 and what year are the clear replacements? See this post if you are trying to retrofit 2004+ lights into a pre-2004 X5 - http://www.xoutpost.com/showpost.php?p=6671&postcount=8

I have a 2002 X5 4.4, and I bought the clear replacements for my model year.
