well, I did it!

I finally redid my brakes - the job could not have been easier, thanks a lot to everyone here for their advice on parts and the great DIY articles! I decided after looking at all the components, that I will NEVER drive another car. Everything was so simple and purposeful, easy to work on and solid to drive. What more can you ask for in a car? I'm even more in love with my X than before. Working on your own car gives you a sense of accomplishment and an attachment of some kind, great feeling.

Make sure you follow the pad bed-in proceedures if you haven't done so already.

Yeah, pads, rotors, a sensor and fluid. I went with OEM rotors, but used Axxis Deluxe pads. They seem to be doing a great job, and they sure were fun as heck to bed in. Going down the steet at 60 and stopping irratically while leaving a trail of brake smoke was awesome! When I stopped after everything the rotor was glowing orange. Great time.
