Using Front Fog Lamps As DRL's ?

As above: Is this possible on a 2006 4.8is E53?

I would like to have the front fogs come on with the ignition and stay on regardless of the other lights status.

Please no lectures on "my uncle knew a guy, who once worked a guy, who's dad was a cop and pulled somebody over for doing this" I am happy with the legalities etc.

I just want to know if I can either wire or code my front fogs to be on with the ignition.

I don't see any way of doing this by coding. I don't see any lines in the LCM that would enable the fogs as DRL. The fog light relay is only activated from the lights on so you would probably need to rewire the relay.

I can ADD the fog/driving lights to the current high beam DRLs through my IBUS app.

It appears to be an app feature and not in the coding menu portion of the app.

Requires an android based head unit to deploy the IBUS app.
