Car Rims vs Truck rims

So i really want to change the wheels on my Summer car '11 550i and i put one the wheels on my x5 3.0land i kind of like it. Obviously i have to change the tires to the 275/315 combo.
Wheels are InCurve 20 x9 and 20 10.5
I just want to know if its safe as both vehicles are 2 tonnes anyway.
Have a look.

Shouldn't be a problem, but as you said the rubber should be swapped for something with a higher profile...

I wish I tried my 550i wheels on the X5 before I sold them, didn't even think to try!

The 550i wheels look great. And I was going to chime in that it's probably not a good idea to put wheels on a car that weighs 2,000 pounds more than the one they were designed for.

So I went to the intergoogle to get better numbers, and it looks like the GVWR (for which I'll assume the wheels were designed to) is not that different between the two cars. About 5400 lbs vs. 6000 lbs.

Probably not a bad idea after all.

I've run "car wheels" on the X5. No issues. Change to appropriate rubber and you'll be set.
