DrRick is on a distinguished road
Clutch kit, DMF, CDV delete, UUC short shift, AFE, CV boots, X-pipe

I have not seen a DIY write up for replacing the clutch and dual mass flywheel on the X5.

I have spent several hours in the last week, and while I am sure one exists I simply have not found one for the X5

Over Christmas break, I am going to get some things done, I have all week off.

I elected to replace with stock clutch and flywheel system, having read all of the pros and cons of switching to SMF (single mass flywheel and not self adjusting clutch). (Bought the LUK DMF on amazon: $335 incl. 2 day free shipping)!!

The rest is noted above. I plan to put together a DIY write up on everything, unless someone points out how redundant it might be.

Regarding the magnaflow x-pipe. RB said it had to be 2 1/4 inch. Why not the 2.5 inch setup??

2003 3.0l 110,000 miles.
Thanks,
RDP
