Exclamation Need help on coding

Hello everyone. I have been sitting whole day in my car coding without success. This is what I am doing: installed and configured every software, opened NCSEXPERT pressed F1 and then F3, then chose e53 and EWS, then pressed F6(back) and F4(Choose ECU), picked PDC and pressed Execute Job. Files got generated and I modified FSW_PSW.MAN file with text editor. Saved and in NCS Expert pressed "Change Job" and picked SP_CODIEREN, then pressed Execute Job and when everything was done checked the car but nothing was done. I turned on inner high beams with bi-xenon but it still does not work. I can't figure out why. I have watched couple of videos on YT and I follow their steps but nothing works

What profile are you using in NCS Expert? Check the profile editor and make sure you have these settings correct. I had similar issues on my E46 folding mirror on key fob programming. It would never take but these settings were unchecked. Once I selected these check marks, everything would work as supposed to when I coded the modified .trc file back.

For enabling halogen high beams with Xenon higbeams, this is how it would work for the E53. But not all E53 will have this line. I don’t have it in my LCM C.22 module. C.18, C.19, C.20, C.21 and C.22 do not have this line. Only C.23 and C.24 modules have this line and will be able to activate this feature.

Launch NCS Expert Choose Revtor’s NCS Expert Profile (label might vary, but should be something to that effect) Click FG/ZCS/FA, click ZCS/FA f. ECU, Choose E53 Chassis and load EWS . (This should come back with your VIN number , GM, SA and VA Click Back

Click Process ECU and select the LCM

Click Reading ECU, wait a couple seconds and it should finish reading (if a window with a bunch of numbers opens up, close that) Take note of the line under “JOBNAME: CODIERDATEN_LESEN”. You should see LCM.C## (where the #s are numbers in your case).

Launch NCS Dummy (don’t close NCS Expert) Under Chassis pick E53 Under Module, pick the one that matches your LCM (LCM.C##) For “FSW/PSW or Nettodata Trace 1”, click the arrow next to “browse”, and click “Load FSW_PSW.TRC”

Click the magnifying glass button in the bottom right In the “Find” Window, type in “PWM_FL_BIX”, hit Find Next, and close the window You’ll see that same parameter highlighted in the main window. “wert_02” will be checked. Check “wert_01”

Click “Export FSW/PSW”

Go back to NCS Expert

Change the job type to “SG_CODIEREN”

Click “Execute Job”

Halogen highbeams with BiXenon highbeams lights should now be enabled

I think I have not checked if the job was CODIERDATEN_LESEN when I firstly try to read from ECU. Can it be a problem?

Codierdaten_lesen is reading the file, sg codieren is writing the file.
Do you have Teamviewer? I can help you code it if you have internet access at the car and Teamviewer running.

I can't run NCS Dummy on my laptop because I can't install .net framework(idk why). Will it be a problem if I modify FSW_PSW.MAN with BMW Coding Tool or Notepad?

*edit* I've just installed .net nevermind
