We named our X5's tonight...
I usually go for German names for my BMW's. Seems normal if I even name them at all. I had pondered what to name my E53 since buying it and nothing really fit so never got around to it.
Wife nabbed my E53 and I have the E70 now. I still never gave naming them much of a thought till today. Today the wife wanted me to go fill up her E53 which I haven't driven since we swapped. After driving it up town I was confronted again with how well it drives and how connected it feels vs the E70. Its just good, light, pure. After getting home and washing the E70 and staring at it for awhile resting between washing this or that on it I was noticing how techno, non connected it felt. It felt.... evil, dark and strange. Then it hit me. We named the E53 Leia and the E70 Vader. It just fits
