No EM light
I have just noticed my Engine management light does not come on when i turn on ignition. I remeber way back when my son's E46 had the same problem. Found out some bm's in the uk did not have them wired in. Mine is a 2003 e53. if i shine a torch at it you can see its there. I have read its a on board led. Also all the bulbs in the bottom of the clocks were missing. I am thinking did someone tape over the led to sell the 53 and remove the bulbs so i could not see errors. I am hoping someone reply's their's is the same. Thank you all. Dave king |

I bet it is disabled in some way to hide a problem or two. One guy who was on the board a long time ago found the LED removed when he pulled the cluster. He replaced it and then the fun really began.
