Mirror Jiggle...
Any way to tighten up the mirrors? More importantly do I need to take the entire mirror off the door to do it? Or does anyone have a hack that works well. every time my door shuts I have to open the window and move it back ever so slightly.
Thanks

I have the same problem. I almost had an accident once because the mirror had moved from the position I had it set to. I think it happens after driving in reverse.

Yeah I have the mirror switch set the the right side so the right side doesn’t move in reverse. This is mostly from walking by it in the garage or closing the door. Driving a fine.

I have the same issue on my drivers side mirror. I popped off the tab underneath and found 4 T10 Torx screws that may be able to be tightened. I only had a T15 Torx bit so I need to find a T10.
On my old 4.6is there were 2 phillips screws underneath the housing that I could tighten up the mirrors with. I guess they changed to Torx on the later years. |

But yes, that's all mine needed. The mirror was loose, and it just needed some of those Torx screws to be tightened, and it's perfect again.
