Pulling a hitch off a car, question on part id

The pentagon shaped piece next to the bumper inserts what is this and where is it from? The rest of the parts I've been able to identify and am comfortable getting them out.

The Hex shape parts are shock absorbers. They are bolted on in two places: inside the trunk under the plastic parts, and outside above the exhaust pipes. The tow bar is attached to those two pieces. If you follow the install procedures in reverse should be easy to do.
