LCM burn down what’s right?

Hi All, 2002 X5, 4.4 and have been working on every issue that came along and have a new one. Caught with it left outside in a storm and learned I need to fix the sunroof drains and found this out as I was met with a strong electrical smell opening the door. Pulled the kick panel and see the LCM is melted down, not figuratively, literally. I can find a few on EBay with the right part numbers on the sticker, but there is an embossed number on the back and not sure if that figures in at all? What the hell am I looking at, worst case scenario if the replacement part is not identical?
