Misc Issues with the Double DIN Eonon GA8166 Head Unit

I'm having some issues with my Eonon GA8166 head unit and wondering if anyone else has similar issues with the GA8166 or similar models. I've been working with Eonon for 10 months with no resolutions so I'm hoping someone here can help.

1. Occasionally, for no apparently reason, the unit will lose audio. When I reconnect the OEM head unit (blue connector), the audio will return. After awhile (days/weeks), audio will stop working again and I'll have to reconnect the OEM unit momentarily to get it back. Does this sound like a defect in the GA8166?

2. The volume output of the GA8166 seems to be determined by the level set with the OEM head unit before unplugging. For example, if I set the OEM volume low, the GA8166's volume control will max out and still not loud enough. I wouldn't expect that kind of dependency. Is that normal?

3. Occasionally when boot up, only the right speaker has audio. To regain full audio, I have to go into Settings > Amplifier, select another sound profile, then it will go back to normal.

4. When playing music from the external micro SD card, sometimes the music is choppy.

5. Occasionally, instead of showing the BMW badge, the GA8166 will boot up with the wrong manufacturer badge: Geely Emgrand https://cdnfa.com/s/brand/thumb/geely-emgrand.jpg

6. WiFi unable to connect. Actually, it doesn't even see any nearby networks...just sits there and search. I've checked the antenna's continuity to the unit and it's fine. Are there settings I need to make? Also, the antenna housing was melted being on the dash. I wouldn't think that's the issue though.

7. Normally, the DVR recording continues after restarting the car but occasionally, it stops and requires opening the app to restart.

8. Backup camera flickers. Sometimes I can make out the image through a bunch of lines, sometimes I can't make out the image at all. Eonon sent me a relay without instructions. My installer can't figure out how to use it. Anyone has any ideas?

Issues #1 to #5 are recent problems started about five months ago (worked fine for first five months after installation). Issue #6 (WiFi) had worked during the first week after installation. Issues #7 and #8 have always been there.
