Broken headlight adjuster

So does anyone know where I can buy a new one?

Checked eBay and only see for e39s.

It looks very similar but it's a little longer than the e53 ones.

Help us help you better...you have no model/model year/build date info in your post or a signature.


Looking up or for parts or knowing if someone is parting out an X5 that is compatible is off the table when the forum members reading your posts don't know what you have.

So I took a chance and ordered the E39 one but was too long about 1/2" longer.

It could fit but don't know if I would be able to adjust it enough afterwards, so just pondering what to do =(

Also tried the non facelift e39 adjusters and it’s too short.

Just ended up repairing it. Used loctite crazy glue and reinforced it with a product I already had called past-aid.
