Hello everyone, my name is John, I'm from Texas, and I have a 2006 X5 4.8iS (and an 05 e46 ZHP).

I've been lurking for a while to fix things up on the e53 and Xoutpost has been a great resource.

The only modifications I've done are to replace the air suspension with coil springs. Other than that, all stock. I read about the nightmares that most people had and decided to not even bother with diagnosing my error message.

will do. I'll post the video of my wife revving it. I didn't realize they would sound so mean and that's when I realized it was a pretty rad little car. I have a few pics on my IG but I'm at work so I can't post them from here :/

I have 113k miles on my 4.8is, rebuilt the air compressor at 91k miles. No issues beyond that. I use the adjustable ride height often.
