Questions for those who have put on a oem trailer hitch assembly.....

Is there anything special that needs to be done after installation? Programing, etc? Or is it pretty much ready to tow? Im just wondering if theres anything that needs to be done to the rear air bags or something or does that module control that?

Thanks in advance

The OEM fitting guide doesn't mention any specific coding...

Plug and go. I didn't have to do any programming. The rear ride self levels, so no matter the load, it adjusts. If you have a trailer plugged in, it will disable the rear PDC alerts. I used a Tekonsha wireless brake controller - it's pretty slick.

Thats what I was mainly wanted to know was the self leveling if that would cause issues towing or if its automatic so thank you for that info!

That wireless braking device you provided is pretty cool. Might need to keep that in mind when and if I do get a trailer with braking capability. Currently dont have anything big enough to needing one but you never know!
