Sirius Antenna

Just installed my Sirius XACT Replay yesterday. I used the advice of two of the members for the installation. I mounted the antenna under the rear spoiler and ran the antenna cable under the rear seat, under the carpet, up through the center console, and up through the ashtray. The Sirius module fits right into the ashtray, totally hidden. This setup is pretty slick. One question though, I have the antenna held down with velcro because there is no metal for the magnet to adhere to. Is this good for a permanent solution, or has anyone somehow put a piece of metal in there? Any advice is appreciated.

Double sided tape - I've used it in many X5 hidden antenna installations.
