What a failing xenon HID bulb looks like
Yeah the problem with hid is they just get dim over time and people leave them in Forever even when they're 80% reduced in light output. What's really annoying is when someone replaces one HID bulb cuz it eventually blows out and the other one is got 80% less light and deep blue. That was the situation with my car when I bought it. My first fix was a pair of 5000k hid from Amazon for $40-50. Almost four years later and very happy with the discount beams.
Tip for replacement: use a right angle adapter for the lower screw makes it pretty easy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
