DME Valvetronic rotation issue

So... I got this little gem of an issue just now.
Problem is that I couldn't get it to clear even after resetting/relearning values as it was showing up as EWS immobilizer activated so when I'd get one cleared the other was still there and it's was playing keep away.

Any ideas on if this was due to the crap voltage error or if the valvetronic is the issue and it's not allowing the correct voltage.

This was 20km into the desert so not an awesome thing. I finally got everything cleared by going into the (special/alternate menu) "I believe that's what it was called" in the maintenance menu which apparently requires that some crap is done while the car runs but the next step was with car in run position with engine off and unlike other menus it doesn't say that in the steps but give you an additional error of ECU_REJECTED. I'm now on the way home with a crying 2 month old and 2 laser burn holes in my skull from the wife. But now everything shows as perfect. I'll check later for thoughts on this but if I'm never heard from again...

I DID NOT FALL DOWN THE STAIRS WHILE HOLDING A KNIFE..!!!
