I used to buy from Bavauto in the 1990s.
Then new competitors showed up...rmeuropean...eeuroparts...FCPeuro etc. Bavauto closes shop either from old-age retiring vs killed by competitors.

Bummer to hear this but they definitely weren't the cheapest option on the market. Especially for the same brand parts.

oh well, welcome to the internet as it opens up multiple opportunities for new business models as well as presents threats to brick and mortar locations. Sorry to see these guys go as they did have a few items I have purchased over the years. As mentioned above, not the cheapest but they had good service.

Hate to see them go. I didn't use them much because I hated their website store part. Compared to other sites it was hard to use and annoyed me.
But losing a supplier in our niche market is always bad.

Awww Damn it! I remember lusting over their catalog that came to my door in the '90's. My e30 318i got a few needed parts.
 Another one now gone worth mention is BMP out of Tyler Texas. The "World Wide Web" turns 30, and the world as we know it changes....RIP
