Wow, I have never seen that model. I always thought the class 3 we have here is the only option. I like that one but none of our accessories like bike racks that take the 2" receiver will work

Looks like any 2" cover will work.

Did a little Amazon digging and found a few for you. Some are just "Perfect"
My personal favorite is the Mickey version....

I'm pretty sure you can get a fitting that terminates in a 2" receiver rather than a ball. Westfalia make this E53 hitch, btw...



Tried to find an image of the BMW > 2" receiver adapter but had no luck. Saw this hack-job though...

Thanks Wayne. I never knew that existed.

All my searches show this for an E70. I can't find one for the E53
