2001 3.0 M54 spark plugs of choice?

What's the current flavor everyone is using? I'm about the change the valve cover gasket and since I have no clue when these suckers were changed since I just bought it I figured this was the ideal time since I have to remove the coils for the valve cover gasket job.

Spark Plug - OEM NGK BKR6EQUP shows to be stock.

What about iridium or whatever else there is to choose from?

I just want reliable/long lasting. I could care less about performance claims.

Never have seen a reason to use anything but this. I'm partial to NGK anyway.

AM.

I posted info on NGK Iridium on bimmerfest e39 (my 1998 528i).
I also use in my 2006 X5 3.0.
And also in my Volvos.

NGK Iridium is great plug, just regap at 40K and replace it every 80K and you are good.

I went ahead and ordered the factory plugs from fcp euro.

The reason is I went thru a ton of amazon links with all of them having "counterfeit" listed somewhere in the reviews on the iridium's they were selling. Then when I popped back and saw attacking mid's post it just seemed common sense to go with the factory normal plugs since they last so damn long to start with and that's all I wanted. Sorry cn90 I had bought before seeing your response and after all the bogus iridium's being sold I figured playing it safe was best.
