2006 3.0d e53 turbo chatter sound??

I have recently taking turbo off my 3.0d x5 got the seals and bearings checked, built the jeep back up, now I’ve noticed a deeper growning from engine and a slight turbo chatter when comin down to near idle rpm, when revving in neutral.. seems to be coming from airbox.. but cant be 100% sure, would a broken Flexi in exhaust cause it.. thanks

This could be many things. What was the result on the turbo check - all ok?

Did you replace all the gaskets on the turbo turbine and compressor inlets and outlets? Dd you check and align (if needed) the turbo VNT actuator? All these items need to be covered off if you goof with your turbo.
