High pitched low mph rotational squeak

I replaced both front axles in our 06 E53 a month ago.

Shortly after I noticed a squeaking sound at low speeds.

It only happens once the car has been driving for 30 minutes or so and everything is nice and hot.

It sounds like one squeak per rotation.

It stops over around 25mph.

If I tap the brakes it seems to stop. (I thought maybe something in the brakes is rubbing, but it's also occurred to me that it adds pressure to the rotation to apply the brakes so isn't guaranteed to be that)

The brake rotors were resurfaced 2000 miles ago and pads are 50%.

The squeak may have existed before replacing the axles. I'm not sure. There were all kinds of disconcerting noises lol. But it may be new, I can't say for certain.

The lower control arms have also been replaced on both sides recently.

Is there anything in a CV joint that can cause a high pitched squeaking? They were cheap ($110 for the pair incl Shipping) but seemed to be good and solid. I'm hoping it's not the axles because those were a pain to have to redo.

I haven't had time to jack the car up and diagnose anything yet, given it only happens after 30 minutes of driving I'm not sure I can replicate it so I'd mostly be hunting for a visual problem.
