4.6is Engine Out Service

Just wondering if anyone's taken out their M62 engine to do work on it.

I've been thinking about how much work and how hard it would be to do an engine out service.

Mine is running fine, but at 110,000 miles, it has an oil leak that requires a quart of oil refill every couple months, it has a slight coolant leak after I replaced the alternator, and i like to replace the engine mount and the steering u-joint while i have the engine out.

Plus i want to refinish the cam covers, replace the timing chain and guide, replace the water pump, maybe the radiator, the a/c compressor, belt tensioner, and replace and reseal all the gaskets to stop the nagging oil leak.

If anyone's done the engine out service please post a link so I can learn from the masters!

Thanks very much!

Theo
