Head unit Angle awful?

so im definitely looking forward to upgrading to an Avin 4 unit soon but my vehicle has a mint condition MKIV (with tape deck behind it so weird why not CD lol)

ever since i have got this truck,m the headunit is angled so weird that i can never see the screen except at night and the avin 4 will be similar due to how similar it is to the OEM units.

what are you guys doing to get around this?

i looked everywhere in settings that i thought would allow some type of FACE tilt that tilted the face forward some to get rid of the glare but nothing.

the glare is horrible and the brightness all the way up doesn't help either.

I'm currently trying to build a "shade" that will help with my Avant 4. I've mocked up one that definitely helped with visibility but I'm picky with total aesthetics, so not sure how I will feel about a semi permanent solution. I will post some pics if I can get it close to livable in terms of looks.

The angle of the screen is awful. I just live with it.
