Removing Hood Vents and Washer Nozzle

I know it's got to be here somewhere, but heck if I could find it. I even Googled for the information. So after and hour of hunting I figured I could ask without guilt.

I was able to remove the vents from the hood but the washer nozzles are still attached. How do I remove the nozzles so I can prep them for paint and clear coat?

Boom Shaka Laka- BMERGRL posted about this awhile back and I don't think anyone had a solution. I've been pondering painting mine titanium for my X, don't know if I will, bt think about it a lot.

That interiro shot looks very nice and unique actually. I like it. I think the chrome gauge rings would look great with your setup too.

p.s. I like your pedals w/o the dead pedal one installed as well

i was yesterday at the dealer regarding the titanium grills. the dealer said the reason why the grilles are sold together with nozles is because they are impossible to remove. why not buy titanium? them sell the black ones. it might be cheaper then spraying, and the quality should be better. imho

Thanks guys regarding the dash! I had the aftermarket wood but it didn't look right so I removed it. I still wanted to break up all of the black in the dash so I opted for PGP paint (Metallic Silver lightened with a Satin clear coat).

The dealer's price of $160 for two plastic vents is what's driving me to paint the grills instead. I would love for someone to add up all of the items on RealOEM for a X5... I bet the cost would be more than a Ferrari. In addition, I have seen photos of painted vents on Car Domain and here...

All I want to know is how to remove the nozzle or how to disconnect the washer and heater wires, then I will mask the spray nozzles and paint.
