Self leveling suspension inactive (missing)
Once I found out what it was and what it was supposed to do I went about trying to get the message cleared. That's when I found out that the whole self leveling suspension system has been stripped out, even the fuses had been removed. The car is level, the ride height is level and it drives really nice so not having the air suspension is absolutely fine by me as it's one less expensive thing to worry about if it were to go wrong, but it's left me with the warning on the dash that I can't get rid of. Any idea's how to clear that message for good since the system doesn't exist anymore? If that's not possible will this cause the car to be an M.O.T failure? |

Not sure about the laws for MOT but it can't be cleared without coding. Good thing is that coding is fairly simple so you should be able to get it done at any BMW specialty shop fairly cheap, or find someone with one of the numerous software packages and offer them a couple pints. It really only takes a couple minutes.

Can be quite easily coded out with for example NCSexpert.
