H&R lowering springs but what struts/stocks
What do you guys use for your struts/shocks with lowering springs? I’ve had Bilstein in other cars with lowering springs it seems to drive harsh. Thanks Jp |

Installed BC's so I can adjust the dampining at will. Normal driving I'm at 10-15 clicks. Going up a canyon, 20-25 ish. ![]() Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Interesting. I have H&R lowering springs with Bilstein touring all around on my rear only airbag 4.4 sports and it feels firmer than OEM sports suspension but not harsh. Is your experience with Bilstein yellows? Bilstein Touring is different.

I have H&R’s with Bilstein’s all four corners, and the ride is amazing for a 6000lbs BMW. It’s definitely not a ride for those looking for an American brand style comfort.

I'm using Sachs shocks/struts with Eibach lowering springs. Ride is very similar to OE sport setup - taught but not harsh.

I'm running H&R front springs with air bags rear and Bilestein B6s with Eibach Anti-Away Bars and mine is firmer than factory for sure but not harsh or abrasive I don't feel like. Butter smooth and stable on the freeway at speed and nice firm (enough) for the on \ off ramps too :-) That said, the B6 shocks are REAL hard to come by at the moment...
