05 Bluetooth/music

I just picked up an 05/4.4 with 151K miles. Stole the thing because the guy freaked on a simple repair. $800.....Runs great with no lights on dash at all. I just figured out that it does have bluetooth and I have paired my phone. The radio pixels are almost completely gone. The unit is going out on Monday to have that repaired. In the meantime I am able to make calls with the bluetooth, but am wondering if I can play music from my phone via the bluetooth? Looked in manuals but nothing referring to that. Thanks

Unfortunately not. Music over Bluetooth (a2dp?) was not supported.

Phone only, but you can get an OEM aux cable and just use a bluetooth audio adapter from Amazon.

These are supposed to start shipping tomorrow and if I didn't already have the Avin Avant-4, I would be all over this for factory add on A2DP Bluetooth music streaming.
