Pay it Forward

Hello Outpost Fam,

Got this idea from the ZHPMafia forum I frequented when I had my ZHP's

The idea here is to offer up any parts relevant to our cars that can help out a fellow member, free of cost. I know we all accumulate items through various work and mods that end up sitting around and may be able to be put to use for someone else.

This works if the recipient has a true intention of putting whatever is offered up to actual use, and not to resell or profit from the "gift".
First come first serve kind of thing. Shipping can be worked out between members.

Enthusiast community and culture is a huge part of why I love BMW. I believe it to be unlike any other community and the purpose of this thread is to keep that aspect alive and thriving in the true spirit of helping out one another.

Pay it forward!

I'll start off...

'Andrewwynn' claimed the roof rack hardware I offered up which I will be shipping out to him, free of cost.

I have a set of Osram nightbreaker laser H1 bulbs. I asked for these bulbs from wifey for XMAS and she bought the non xenon bulbs, of course - haha
I recently purchased a set (D2S) from a fellow member (X5only) and have no use for these bulbs.
Purchased from Powerbulbs and are genuine -unopened

Who needs them?

I have a bunch of parts leftover from various upgrades and maintenance available free - just cover shipping (all came off 3.0i):

Alternator (core, batt light was on)
All 4 brake calipers/rotors (off 55k mile truck) - gone
Dual-mass flywheel (DMF action feels good, could use a resurface)
Stock non-sport coil springs (F&R)
GM Automatic AS360R TCC and pressure solenoids (off 55k mile truck, replaced due to slight delay in shifting into drive but made no difference) -
Fan clutch & water pump (off 55k mile truck, replaced as preventative maintenance) - gone
Engine mounts (off 115k mile truck, replaced during oil pan gasket job, I noticed no difference between old and new mounts). gone

Shoot me a note if interested or for pics.

I will happily look through my parts pile. Most of my stuff is for e31, but I do have new Pano sunroof seal that surrounds both sheets of glass I know for sure

What a neat idea! I always end up with all sorts of spares from my cars that I feel bad about tossing out. I'm only 3 months into X5 ownership, so don't have much yet (I'm still debating about installing the Business CD head unit I picked up at the junkyard or going retro and keeping the tape deck ).

Anyways, interested in the stock springs you have. I'll shoot you a pm!

MY 2000? I didn't know you could get an X5 with the business cassette unit.
