Tow Hitch Wiring Harness & AHM

Just wondering which one of these plugs is the harness for the AHM, tow hitch module. I've read several threads and I can't find good photos of where the harness plugs in to the car harness, and where it plugs into the AHM. I'm going to make my own harness like one other member did, and I've already acquired and AHM.
I think it's the one i have circled in green.

Does the tow harness go from the car tot he AHM then branch out to the 4 way trailer connector?

Pretty sure that neither those connects to the trailer module - the trailer module connector is under the battery cover, next to the battery and PDC module etc.

The black plug at the very rear (green circle) is where the trailer harness/connecot hooks up...

Very helpful, thank you guys.
I searched the nets so long and never found that pdf.
I'll post back with pics once I get the harness made and connected with the AHM.

So let me make sure I have this figured out.
I plug the AHM (trailer module, PN 61356908767) into the harness next to the battery and PDC module. Then I take the custom wires/harness i plan to use, and connect the 7 connectors to one end, slide them through the black 12 pin connector, measure and cut to length, slide over the rubber grommet, fish it through the hole in the car body and connect my 7-way or 4-way.

Is that pretty much it?

Sounds about right. Not sure what items your 7 wires are for but note that the AHM module will look for tail lamps, brake lamps, signal lamps and reverse lamps. Your trailer needs to have these lamp circuits (or dummies) or the LCM will chime and report errors on the dash.

Perfect thank you.
I was thinking I would wire it up as a 7 way with trailer braking option, and just use my 4 way adapter for the small boat I pull. Looking at some photos of the harness online, looks like there are 7 wires. But I will probably never pull anything with the X5, larger than my boat or small trailer anyway.

Small update. My FCP Euro and Amazon package came in today. Still waiting on the AHM module to arrive.
Plan is to cut the end off of the RV extension cable, slide on the grommet, and connect the BMW connector. Then should be plug-n-play from there.
