OEM used trailer hitch available

I was looking for a few parts for my X at a local yard and found an OEM hitch and all of the goodies. Is anyone interested in it? I am going to pull it tomorrow and then I'll post the pics. I'm in AZ so the thing should be void of rust/corrosion.

I found and installed one for my X, so I know to get all of the parts including the bumper reinforcement, wiring and module.

Lucky find!

FYI- things for sale are limited to a listing in the classified section and only by premier members.

I am aware of this. I'm not looking to start selling parts on the forum and this is a rare instance to find an OEM hitch. I thought I would offer it up to the Outpost community as a way to show my appreciation for the advice and help I get here. That's all.

If the post needs to go away, no worries here.

That's what the membership fee to sell parts is for. To show your appreciation. You aren't giving the hitch away. You are selling parts.

I would be interested but can't imagine what the shipping would cost from Arizona. Definitely more than my monthly income at the moment.

Congratulations on the membership. GLWS

Nice pic, thanks. I've heard about this legendary unicorn tow hitch many times, but never actually seen it.

This sure does look like it is the world's most complicated tow hitch ever made. I mean why make it one piece, when you can make it 20? I can see why it takes a Ph.D. in BMW junk yards to make sure you get every last item.

Am sure it's great. Thanks for grabbing it for a fellow member, whoever gets it.

Installing it isn't as bad as it looks. Actually quite easy compared to most DIY's.

I am going to box it all up and weigh it. Then I should be able to give shipping estimates based on zip codes.
