Vacuum Line Below Disa M54

Recently had a shop do some work on my X5, and post-repair I was doing a visual once over and found this disconnected line, just below the DISA valve. Can't see where it should connect-

It's most likely the vent for the front dif.

Thanks! Not sure why this caught my attention this time if that's the case. Guess my "powers of observation" aren't what they might once have been....

I no longer have m54 motor but that question comes up a couple times a year.

Couple of times a year? More like couple of times a week

It's definitely not uncommon. If the hose is not flexible and has a hook at the top it's a vent. I think there are 2-3. Dif, possibility xm and transfer case
