Transport mode

So some of you may have caught onto the fact that I am struggling with my air suspension.

I just replaced the compressor in my trunk and then I went into DIS to check all of the air suspension related things. I went through all of them one by one, they all seemed to have checked out, except for the fact that at the end of it my suspension level system was inactive. It didn’t show any faults in DIS, so I turned to INPA and there it showed me transport mode.

I have tried to look through every single menu I could find, but I could not find a way to disable this. Any guidance?

Edit: my bad, it’s actually Production mode and Shipping mode that are active.

Thanks, that worked a treat!

But, now, I don’t have the warning for self level suspension inactive, I get no errors in INPA or DIS, yet it’s still not turning on... I think I’ll pull all my hairs out by the time this works.

No errors in the EHC module?

Absolutely no errors, I’m at a loss. Tomorrow I will try running through all the suspension related tests in DIS again, to see if maybe something brings it back to life, but other than that I am at a loss for ideas.

Just on the off chance...

Disconnect your battery and put the + and - cables together then reconnect everything making sure your battery is fully charged and run a full scan.

After my Zamboni adventure I got a code for the classification resistor and replaced it and was then able to get it out of transport mode.

Never did find out if it really was keeping me locked in transport mode or just some weird coincidence.

As for the age thing... my wife was pregnant with son number 3 with a 20+ year gap between number 2 so her sense of humor was NOT good...

Thanks, I just tried that, the only error I get in the whole system is that it can’t find the radio, which is understandable as I have an aftermarket one.

I am now going through all the tests again for the air suspension, so far everything checks out. Is it possible there’s some kind of a mode it was left in and that’s why it won’t boot up?

Unhappy

Well, it’s stating the obvious, the switch is off, I still get the self level suspension inactive message, transport mode is off and there are no errors. Best reaction to this is “what the ####”.

Okay so I managed to pump it up manually through INPA and went out for a drive and now I get the following errors, BUT I don’t have the self level suspension inactive on my dash

Please be careful here.....

If I recall this is the where I stuffed my EHC2 years ago.

Be aware that your compressor will be working overtime and will heat up quickly.....you can monitor the temperature one step back from this menu.

Pressing "Shift+F1" will test your Air suspension system BUT will go back to your current state it was in.....after it finished the test cycle.

I have tried all modes and seems to respond

The setting that I DID to make it work on my issue was " Shift+F8"

If your prepared to shell out a new module....

Play around...it'll help you understand the EHC2 module thru INPA.

Good luck!

Sorry...not much help.
