tie rod end difference

Doing front end suspention on my 04 3.0,seems tie rod ends are different
part numbers than 02 3.0. have measured both on my 02 and my 04,cannot
tell any difference,have not removed yet.Anyone know whats up?

04 x5 black auto 198000 km
02 x5 silver auto 271000km
02 325 IT 5spd 22000km
04 325 IT 5spd 272000km
03 330 5spd sport 265km

On real OEM plug in VIN for 04 and track the part down then look where it will say "supersedes xxx" if one of those parts match 02 they should be interchangeable
