The motors in the actuator are wearing out.
I have a DIY how to repair for $12 in parts vs $230 replacement. I've done 3-4 of them so far and have to do two more before mine and wife's X are both all functional. If the handle won't unlock the door from inside, the double lock motor is either not fully operational or out of sync you can. Use the emergency exit method to try to re-sync the motor: 1) get inside car 2) lock the doors with key fob 3) lock a second time to disable motion alarm 4) press and hold the central lock button 5) pull the door handle of the suspect door Warning: if you pull a second time you'll open the door and set off the alarm. Once you get the door to unlock either be prepared for the alarm and disabke with the key fob or key in the ignition. Good luck the trick above helps somebody on xo about every 4-6 months
