Auxillary fan always on high
I have checked coolant level(have read if low may cause fan to kick into high). Is it just to hot outside(mid 80s) 2006 X5 3.0L V6 |

Check the sensor connection on the ac line behind the right headlight. If it comes loose the fan will jump to high speed (we also test the fan that way). Make sure the connector is well seated on the sensor.

I got to thinking that I had my AC recharged and I wonder if they overfilled it.
Will take a look at sensor. Thanks |

If they overfill the system the fan will run full blast. Don't ask me how I know.
