4.6iS Fender Flares

I always wanted to add the front fender flares to my 4.6iS so I purchased a full set from an eBay seller in Latvia just to acquire the front ones. Has anyone installed the eBay replica molds to their X5? If so, how did you end up mounting them? Post install pictures would be greatly appreciated as well!

I ponied up for the factory front flares. They were pricey though at about $375 each with plastic rivets but the fitment was plug and play. You get the entire arch from running board to end of fender. I didn't want to have to glue the aftermarket ones on and was a little worried about the quality.

I've got the front flares from Latvia, they fit OK, but will require glue or screws to fit them. The finish on them is darker then the original plastic. Maybe my original plastic faded over the years, later I decided to spray all the plastic fender parts anyways. :-)

I used 4 screws to secure them to the original fender. Make sure you pre drill the fibreglass flare first otherwise it will crack.
I can't find a picture of the install, or the holes I drilled

This is exacly what I needed! I wasn't sure of how the fitment or how people were mounting them as most have oem ones. So you just predrilled 4 holes in the fiberglass pieces and used 4 screws (what kind of screws?)from the bottom? Nothing was needed on the outer upper portion? Wish you had those pics and I feel really bad for what happend to your baby...
