Considering some other wheels options for my newly purchased 2006 X5 3.0
I do like these a lot but I'm not sure how popular they really are. If I put them for sale, would there be any interest here? All 4 of them are in very nice condition with very minor curb rash and tires are Toyo Open Country HT with only 8k miles on them but they are 6 years old. Picture of 2 after thorough cleaning, 2 others are same if not better

Pretty common wheel. Smaller size is less desirable (to most). Nice set though. Could pick up sets of those for sub $500 in good condition fairly easily in south Texas.
I think the market is small for anything less than 19" everywhere except where the powdery stuff falls. And then shipping will probably make it not worth a deal for buyer and seller. List them locally for your chosen price and see how you do.

I just bought really nice X5 and I need to leave it alone as far as mods. The 18" wheels are big enough to look good but have enough tire sidewall to give a comfortable ride. Now, 17" really look too small IMO. |
