B&K-X5 is on a distinguished road
that is exactly what took out the motor in my 4.4. The alternator bracket gasket leaked and when it ran low on oil the chain tensioners got sloppy and the drivers side exhaust cam moved like 20 degrees. I think the reason these gaskets fail is because t-stat runs motor too hot. I installed a logic 7 on my new motor and when I had it running it was holing around 90c. But I never did get it out on the road to get a real test on the t-stat. Maybe some year I will be able to do that.
