Foxwell list or directory of functions and tests?

Does it exist?

I used my Foxwell NT520Pro yesterday, and searched and searched, trying what I thought was every option available, doing a full tree search, looking for a particular active test I wanted to run, and thought existed. Failed. Gave up.

Then, after concluding my exhaustive search, I stumbled on the test I had been looking for, when following another path following a scan.

I was happy to find it, but ...

It would be so much easier if there was a list, in text or PDF format, of all the live data, active tests, etc., and how to get to them. Is there such a thing?

If such a list exists, i definately haven't found it yet.

3 days ago i received my Foxwell NT510 Elite, which i bought for the sole purpose of resetting the adaptive oil values after changing the oil in my transfer case. -And maybe also because i thought it looked a bit cooler than paddling around in INPA.

Guess what the NT510 Elite does not support..
Yep. Resetting the adaptive oil values for the TC.

To be precise, the scanner boldly states that it is my vehichle that doesn't support that particular operation, which i most firmly disagree with.

So i would also love to see a list of supported fuctions of the various Foxwell scanners, so i can figure out which one to buy next in order to get those oil values reset.

I have the Foxwell NT-510 and never got a function tree list either.

NT-510 will reset your TC as I've done it with mine. Not 100% positive that it was under the service menu but think it was under three component menu engine section (all memory as car is in the air) will see about climbing up when I get a chance or finally get the new suspension in.

The Foxwell NT-510 definitely resets adaptations for transfer case clutches after the TF 0870 oil change. I also did it on my 2004.

The tree is different for every car so they couldn't make a PDF.

It is frustrating but practice makes perfect.

The best way to find the applicable functions usually is to start with auto scan to get only modules that apply to to your car.

What's extra frustrating is when comparing other similar models and some options are not available.

I have had this same thought ever since I started using my 520. I was going to start a tree of my own for future use of the functions I use most. Someday....
