A question for those intimately familiar with e53 headlights

Well, I FINALLY have an opportunity to dump my amber lenses on my headlights. I HATE the amber on the headlights. HOWEVER, when I finally found what I thought were suitable replacements for my 2006 4.8is...I had not researched to learn that "Dynamic Xenon" was the same as "adaptive"...so my replacements might leave me short on that feature. Here is what I bought:

63117166803H
Headlight D2S/H1 L.-side complete bi-xenon/ without adaptive light, with white direction indicator lights - original Hella Germany

My question is - can whatever parts that make my current lights operate as adaptive be retrofitted into these easily? It looks like a motor and a relay, which I would obviously already have. I just don't know if these Hella OEM lights would be ready to accept the changes? Does anyone know? Thanks!

Adam

No internal modification will be easy on a facelift light. Can be done, but not fun. "Without adaptive" will mean no self leveling or aiming as you said. I don't think retrofitting the motor and wiring is possible without removing the lens.

Hopefully someone will have better news and I am wrong.
