Lift kit
I just installed lift spacers in my 2002 4.6is which is equipped with with rear Auto Sel-leveling air bags Used 2” lift spacers on the front struts 2” spacers on the rear shocks as well as ontop of the bags The kit is made for the rear bags so obviously other people have installed them but I can’t find any posts about it. Obviously if you have rear coils its way easier but I don’t want to do the conversion. The Auto Self levelling system is now displaying an “Inactive” code and is over compensating for the lift height by deflating the bags down to a to the stock height. I’ve had it recalibrated but it only stayed lifted until I drove it on the highway for about an hour and it went back down and now the bags are pretty much empty. I checked the sensors and they seem to move freely What am I missing here? Last edited by Xdriv; 12-27-2020 at 12:41 PM. |

So I have my 3.0 5mt lifted, and it has springs on the rear. I don't believe that installing the rear lift kit with suspension it was a PITA. like the one in this kit. good luck
