On the dension fm modulator, what sort of connections that plugs into the actual modulator from the ipod? Is it phono's or densions own special connector?

Looks like its Densions own connector.

From having read a few posts on FM modulators, the sound qualit is not that good.
Is there any rason why you don't use the icelink plus system to replace the CD changer or the aux input on the radio?

Agreed - I would not modulate the audio being that you already have a BMW and iPod already.
