ASAP - fuel filter, is blue - in or return?

On the inlet side of the fuel filter, there are 2 fuel lines, BLACK and BLUE.

I mixed them up
I read that the black is the return but just saw a photo where the blue is return??

The out side is easy, blue and vacuum.

Blue is the "RTN" (center connection)
Black is the "IN"

I pulled up the back seat and checked the lines at the pump, Black at the elec. pump and blue at syphon side.

Maybe this will help someone else that wasnt paying attention when pulling off the lines......
