Mystery Connector in DSP audio system?
Anyone know what this connector is for? In my '05 X5, the cable runs to a disk on the roof that looks like either a GPS antenna or XM radio. It looks aftermarket, and I like to remove it. I searched the interwebs for the part number on the label, and it came up with nothing. Thanks!!

Yep, that module it's connected to looks like the factory XM satellite radio module. Most likely the antenna is inside the rear upper hatch by the third brake light. I seem to remember it being there when I removed a complete setup. And believe it or not, when installed at the dealership they manually hack up that rear module bracket.

Thanks Crystalworks! Makes sense. I'm not interested in XM, so out it comes. The dealer or someone used clear packing tape to secure the wire to the body behind the top of the tailgate. Janky.
