DISA resurrection?
Gets 12 volts at key position two but the flap doesn’t move with 12v to it. I have already replaced the flap and such but the actuator seems to have failed. Any chance to fix that? Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I'm not aware of any fix to the electrical side.
I would try and source a good used unit vs. a new aftermarket one. I haven't had great luck on aftermarket ones. |

You need vacuum to operate it. It's electric vacuum solenoid, not a servo drive.

I always suck on the DISA tube to make sure the valve moves before installing.

I've always been curious about this. Is it Vacuum that holds the valves shut and that sends an electrical signal? Or is there a servo in there that allows the flap to move?
