Full stage 3+ Soundskins DIY - Massive road noise reduction

I hope everyone is having a great week, and I wanted to share out my latest project! If you want to take your sound dampening and audio performance to the ultimate level, SoundSkins Classic is the way to go!

Make sure to check out my stage 1-3 videos, but with the X5 I wanted to go one step further. Road noise, your tires, traffic and other factors can really be tiring especially on longer drives. In addition, if you have invested in an upgraded sound system in your car, reducing the ambient sound floor makes a huge difference in your audio quality as well!

I wanted to take the X5 to the ultimate level and build out through stage 3, but even improve on that using the soundskins classic on the interior of the doors themselves. This creates not only an additional layer but a double baffle through the doors with SS Pro replacing the vapor barriers. In addition, you can extend well past the boundaries of the existing vapor barriers with SS Pro, dramatically improving sound reduction there as well.
This is a longer project in time commitment, but isn't hard and can be done with really only a few simple tools. In addition, if you are upgrading your sound system with speakers like the Alpha Ones from BimmerTech, I don't know why you WOULDN'T do this.

Check it out, and I *highly* recommend this project if you want to get pro level serious about your car and sound reduction.

I don't need to upgrade my sound but I have misophonia and anything to reduce unwanted sounds is priceless.

Funny, I made a very similar, though far less thorough video, very recently. Will check yours out in entirety at first opportunity.
