Thumbs up Bimmer Rims&Resonators

Ok I have sytle 87 on my Bimmer and as you all know the front ones are smaller than the rear. I would like to have the same size as the rear up front. Is that possible? Would it rub against anything? The second question is I have the 4.6 tips welded on and I would like to remove the resonatos, would that mean getting rid of the tips? And the last question is what would be bettter the "x" pipe or straight? I am looking more for the Bimmer growl than anything else as the end result. Thanks in advance.

I can only answer your first question. Yes that is possible and in fact Jan (Janix) has 20x10.5 rims wrapped with 315 rubbers all around on his 4.6is without any problems.

I cant answer your last question but I will answer the second.

You can remove the resonators and keep the 4.6 tips. The reason for this is that your resonators are separate from your rear silencers and tips. They are separated by clamps.
